FAQ

Straight answers.

What does D2 Solutions do? +

D2 Solutions is a DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering consultancy. We build and run multi-tenant Kubernetes platforms, observability stacks, cloud and AI infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines, and we handle cloud migrations end to end. We are also the delivery partner for ID Shield Protect, running the LureLab phishing simulation and Nexably compliance platforms.

What is the ID Shield Protect partnership? +

D2 Solutions delivers ID Shield Protect's LureLab phishing simulation and the Nexably compliance-asset inventory, and provides the DevOps and platform engineering layer both products run on. EU-hosted, aligned with AZOP guidance, and mapped to ZKS and GDPR obligations.

Has D2 Solutions worked with government and regulated clients? +

Yes. D2 Solutions works on an Azure tenant migration for the Crown entity that governs New Zealand's electricity market, and on a seven-system legacy migration for one of New Zealand's largest life insurers.

Where is D2 Solutions based, and where does it work? +

D2 Solutions d.o.o. is registered in Croatia (EU) and works remotely worldwide, with active engagements across Europe and New Zealand. On-site work is available when it matters.

Can D2 Solutions work with clients in the US or other time zones? +

Yes. D2 Solutions already delivers to New Zealand from Croatia, a 10 to 12 hour offset, on scoped quarterly contracts. Morning and evening overlap covers most US and APAC working hours, and the rest is delivered async against a published timeline with clear checkpoints. Location has never been the constraint.

Does D2 Solutions have measurable results? +

Yes. Recent engagements include a New Zealand government tenant migration consolidating four portal apps from five Azure regions into one with zero client secrets in the target tenant, a seven-system insurer migration delivered across three release waves in a roughly twenty-week programme, and a three-region SaaS platform where backend CI was accelerated 45 percent, from 22 to 12 minutes. Our multi-tenant Kubernetes work runs in production across 7 clusters and 10+ tenants with zero cross-tenant data leaks.

What is the AI Platform Health Report? +

The AI Platform Health Report is a monthly subscription. D2 Solutions connects read-only to your Kubernetes and Azure estate, generates a report on cost waste, reliability risks, and platform hygiene, and a senior engineer reviews and signs off every finding before it reaches you. Pricing starts at 300 EUR per month, no annual contract.

How much does a Kubernetes or Azure cost audit cost? +

A fixed-scope cost and reliability audit is priced upfront, typically 3,000 to 6,000 EUR depending on estate size, and delivered in about two weeks. It covers rightsizing, waste, autoscaling, reliability risks, and a prioritized savings plan. See the cost audit page for scope details.

How do engagements work? +

Three ways: a fixed-scope cost and reliability audit, the monthly AI Platform Health Report subscription, or scoped quarterly consulting engagements. You bring the system, the constraints, and the deadline; we bring a senior operator who ships in production. Contact [email protected].
